This past Tuesday, June 2, I took my camera to Antelope Lake, in South Dakota, to take pictures of the full moon. When I got there the sun was starting to set and storm clouds were moving in from the West. The moon hadn't come up yet so I started to snap some photos of the water and other surroundings.
When the moon started to come up it was barely visible through the thickness of the clouds. I knew at that point I would not be able to photograph the moon. I was able to capture the natural beauty that night with sunset photos, water, clouds, and pine trees.
It ended up being a very fun night of photography and I cant wait till my next adventure in the northeast corner of South Dakota.
Enjoy the gallery :)
